Official Journal of the European Marketing Academy

International Journal of Research in Marketing is an international, double-blind peer-reviewed journal for marketing academics and practitioners.

IJRM aims to contribute to the marketing discipline by providing high-quality, original research that advances marketing knowledge and techniques.

At the forefront of marketing research

IJRM welcomes innovative research with the potential to spur future research and influence practice. The journal embraces contributions across marketing topics and methods, with particular interest in work that is novel, visionary or pathbreaking.

High-quality research

IJRM publishes original research that advances marketing knowledge and techniques with strong conceptual and methodological rigor.

Wide audience

The journal addresses marketing scholars, practitioners, marketing research and consulting professionals, and policymakers.

Clear contribution

All submissions should be interesting, relevant to marketing, rigorous and written in a clear, concise and logical manner.

Scope and positioning

As marketers increasingly draw on diverse and sophisticated methods, IJRM welcomes contributions in various aspects of marketing and from different disciplinary approaches.

The editors especially encourage research that opens new directions, provides timely ideas, and contributes meaningfully to the development of marketing thought.

Submission expectations

Replications and minor methodological or theoretical improvements will generally not be publishable in IJRM unless they make a substantial and meaningful contribution.

For non-native English speakers, the use of a copy editor is strongly encouraged.
