IJRM Best Paper Award

IJRM-EMAC Best Article Award

The IJRM-EMAC Best Article Award is given annually to paper(s) published in the International Journal of Research in Marketing in the year preceding the year the award is being presented.

About the award

The IJRM-EMAC Best Article Award recognises outstanding article(s) published in IJRM and selected through a two-round voting process by the IJRM Editorial Board.

Eligibility

The award is given annually to paper(s) published in IJRM in the year preceding the year in which the award is presented.

Who votes?

The winning article is chosen through two rounds of voting open only to members of the IJRM Editorial Board.

First round

Each voter nominates no more than three papers that were published in IJRM in the preceding year.

A shortlist is then made of the three articles, or more in case of a tie, with the most votes.

Second round

In the second round, members of the IJRM Editorial Board vote for only one article from the shortlist.

The paper(s) receiving the most votes is awarded Best IJRM Article for the year.

Selection process

  • IJRM Editorial Board members nominate up to three eligible papers.
  • The papers with the most nominations form the shortlist.
  • Editorial Board members vote for one article from the shortlist.
  • The paper(s) with the highest number of votes receive the award.
